About
Dr Thinzar Win completed her primary medical degree in Myanmar in 2008 and undertook her
junior doctor years in Queensland Health Hospitals from 2016 before completing specialist GP
fellowship training through James Cook University (Tablelands) in 2021.
Throughout her medical career, she earned her greatest reputation from her dedication for promoting health improvement of her patients through high quality holistic care and being a great listener. Outside of medicine she is a loving mum and wife. She loves travelling, cooking and spending time with her young family.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery MBBS, Diploma of Child Health DCH,
Fellowship of Royal Australian Colleague of General Practitioner FRACGP.
